I’m not a huge fan of cold and snow, but I do really enjoy our time out west in Teton Valley, Idaho during Christmas break and my children’s mid-winter break. While everyone else goes out and skis, I usually wander around the valley or head over the pass to spend the day in Jackson, Wyoming and Grand Teton National Park.

This was taken in the Valley one day this winter… it was pretty gray to begin with, so it really felt like a photo that needed to be black and white.

I always am drawn to the fields and the lines that the plows make in the soil. My last trip to Teton Valley was a little different… the fields have been planted and there is green popping up in the rows, adding color to the pattern.pattern2

28. Love Is…

DSC_2013When thinking of the title, the first thing that came to mind was my family. As part of Mother’s Day, they agreed to pose for me so I could get photos of them. =) I’m so blessed to have these amazing people as my family!
